Feeling Sketchy card challenge #94

Like every month, here is another card sketch from Feeling sketchy :

We have two sponsors for this challenge : Molossi with a $30 chipboard and bling package and AuroraWings Digistamps with a $10 voucher.

I use the stardancer stamp to create this card, but instead of sky, the dancer is in the sea with seaweeds. I also use part of the stamp to create seaweed around the dancer.

Recollections paper, Copic markers YG21, YG03, YG63, BG10, BG13 and BG15, Mowed law and Peacock feathers distress ink by Tim Holtz.

You have until the end of July to play with us so grab your stash !

June Stuck?! sketch challenge

I'm trying to do as many layouts as I can before I have to pack everything to go back to France, so I used the help of Stuck?! Sketch for this one. Here is the sketch for June :

I even add my own challenge to it : use only one sheet of white cardstock ! Can you believe it ? No pattern papers !

So one white cardstock sheet, black washi tape (We r Memory Keepers), Want2Scrap brick stencil with modeling paste, Prima Marketing stencil with Colorbox blue ink, Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage photo and frayed burlap, Inkadinkado coffee ink, Dylusions white ink spray, blue satin ribbon, Studio 18 bird chipboards, and (OK I cheated) K&Company paper to mat the pictures...

The title is the Turkish word for pigeon. These pictures were taken during our first afternoon in Istanbul, by the pier near my friend's place. I still have like 40 pictures from this trip to scrap...

July 365Scrap sketch challenge

Still working on my Istanbul album these, before I have to pack everything. I found the new sketch of the 365Scrap blog and it was perfect for a picture I took on the Burgazada island (remember my last layout ?). Here is the sketch :

and here is my take (picture taken with Instagram) :

g.c.d paper for the background, scraps of K&Company and Recollections papers, gesso and modeling paste, Prima Marketing acrylic stamp, Inkadinkado coffee ink, Tim Holtz distress ink in frayed burlap and vintage photo, metal embellishments from the Big Bazaar, Sizzix branches die cuts, wood word and Thiclers alphas.

Can you spot the Turkish symbol on this layout. Again a tiny metal embellishment from there...

Another layout for my Istanbul album

Hello everyone !

I have a new layout to share about my trip in Turkey. The pictures were taken in Burgazada, one of the Prince's islands. You can access to these islands by ferry, and the funny thing is you can pay the ferry with the same card than the tram or the bus.
We had a great time there, taking a horse's cab to go on the other side of the island to eat in a restaurant with fabulous view.

American Crafts paper (two sides of the same paper), Doddlebug Design doilies with Prima marketing chalk, Prima stencil, purple paint, a lot of washi tapes (We R Memories Keepers, MME, Blue Fern, and Doddlebug Design), Bella Blvd stickers and Webster's Pages alphas.

I didn't scrap even half of the pictures taken in Istanbul ! I will keep working...

Have a nice day !

Color Me Scrappy challenge #64

Hi everyone !

For once I made a layout about...me! I don't have a lot of picture of me, and I'm not very good at selfies. So I'm glad to find some picture of me in the others' camera.

Here is the color board I use for the Color Me Scrappy blog :

And that's what I end up with :

I scraplift a layout found on Pinterest . It's apparently a layout from the C'est Magnifique website, but I cannot find from which designer.. It's amusing I choose one of their layout without knowing from where it's coming from. Love their design. Anyway, the original was all about shabby and neutral colors, and once again I finished with my usual shabby bright !

I use a lot of products, I will try to list them all : K&Company paper, doilies, DCWV cards, flowers by Prima Marketing, I Am Roses, Jolee's Boutique and Recollections, Thickers, Doddlebugs pearls, embossing paste with acrylic paint, Prima Marketing stencil, distress ink by Tim Holtz, Inkadinkado stamp, metal embellishment from Dubai (thank you again Carmentxu, see her blog here), Smooch Spritz...

Don't forget to link your colorful layouts to the CMS blog to play ! You could win this prize from Pink Paislee :

You could win $15 worth of stamps from Stichy Bear and a $30 bling package from Molossi, so create a card using the sketch and upload it to the Feeling Sketchy blog before the end of June !

Blitsy craft challenge : color theme

Hello there,

I'm back to you today with a birthday gift I made for a friend. As she got a pink dress in the picture, the title was easy to find. Two roses for two pretty ladies... and sparkle.
It's a canvas covered with blue paper (Scrapabilities), so it's perfect for the theme of the Blitsy Craft challenge : incorporate the color blue !

The roses are cut off a sheet of American Craft paper with Stickles. Leaves by Making Memories, ribbons found at Hobby Lobby, chipboard (pretty) by ATD, glitter pink alpha stickers by Making Memories, and Frosty Lace Cardstock by KI Memories with aqua Stickles.

Wish me luck !

An altered box : June IARC

This month, the I Am Roses challenge is about using a frame for a project. As I didn't have one, I did make some...One rectangle and one round. You will see.

I ate a lot of French cookies in beautiful tins when I was in the U.S., and I did bring them with me when I moved. So I decided to alter one for this challenge. Here is the result :

I covered the tin with Mod Podge and pink tissue paper. Once dried, I applied various ink (Smooch Spritz and Tattered Angels). I also stamped modeling paste+hot pink paint with a foam stamps (Making Memories), with a touch of white gelato (Faber-Castell).
I decorated this box with different laces and ribbons (Hobby Lobby, Celebrate-it,), flowers (Prima Marketing, I Am Roses, Petaloo, Making Memories) distressed with paint and ink, leaves (I Am Roses) covered with vanilla paint, some pearls, and embellishments (flourishes, frames, cameo) made with air dry clay and Martha Stewart molds.

To add a touch of color to some of the molded embellishments, I colored them with my Copics.

Ok, it's very pink. But I think it's a good fit for this challenge, don't you ?

Once Upon A Sketch June Challenge

Hello !

My eyes got caught by a element of the Once Upon A sketch June challenge : a gate ! And as I have the perfect Cricut cartridge for that, I went for this sketch :

Gate, flowers... don't need more to create ! So here is what I came with :

K&Company papers, Prima Marketing and I Am Roses flowers, laces from Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Costco, blue mat by Heidi Grace, stencil with chalk by Prima Marketing, purple pen by Faber-Castell, Sukare white gel pen, and Cricut Expression with Ornemental Iron (for the gate) and Flower Shoppe (the white leaves).

Another lovely layout for my Istanbul album. This picture of my dear friend was taken during lunch after visiting Agia Sophia.

Have a great day !

Color Me Scrappy challenge #63

Love, love, love the colors of this new CMS challenge !

I find it perfect for one of my favorite K&Company collection. I cut out all the flowers from one sheet to display one another. Pink frames are by Heidi Swapp, and the alpha by Echo Park. I just add some blue to the flowers, and gray and dark pink to the alpha with Copic markers to match the challenge.

This layout is really representative of my style : fussy cutting, bright colors and flowers !

You'll have until the 15th of this month to play ! You could a complete kit of the Hello Sunshine collection from Pink Paislee !

Have fun !
