Wooden bear embellishment card

Hi there !

If you have been to craft stores recently, you probably saw a lot of flat wood ornaments. I bought some myself and decide to use one on my 6th card...

I stamped snowflakes on the wood like paper with Umbrella Crafts white pigment ink, then cut out a circle in the center with a circle cutter. The hardest part was to cut off the paper from the wood embellishment. Some sentiment stamped twice on each side of the circle in white and embossed in white too with Ranger embossing powder, a nice ribbon to attach the wood circle and I was done !

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope to see you tomorrow for another of my 30 cards before Christmas ! Don't forget to comment and follow to enter my giveaway !

Have a nice day !

3D Christmas tree card

Hello !

Still there or just arrived ? Anyway it's day 5 of my 30 cards before Christmas and I have something different for you today ! The focal point of this card is the 3D tree I created with only a small fern punch !

Papers came from a Winter and Christmas stack by DCWV, the tag too. I had this red bow for so long I cannot remember where it came from... And I use a corner punch to round the card.
You will need a bunch (!) of punches to create this tree, but I love the dimension of it !

For a reason I ignore, Facebook banned me to share my blog's posts for a week. So may I please ask you to share my cards with your friends so they can comment and enter my giveaway too ? My projects are meant to be shared, what is the point of blogging if not ?
Thank you in advance to spraid my cards all over internet, so everybody can have a chance to win my great prize (see previous post) by commenting my cards and following my blog.

Have a great day and see you tomorrow...

War and Sakura : a mixed media layout

Hello !

I'm on the Art Anthology blog today with a new mixed media layout !

I sprayed Sandcastle and Patience Colorations sprays on the ink resist paper (Heidi Swapp), Mud paste, Cracked and Blossom stencils, and Rhodolite Gemstones medium by Art Anthology.

Bonus of the day... I made a video ! Watch here to see the complete process of this layout :

Beside the AA products, I also used those :

Thank you for stopping here, I hope you like this layout.
See you tomorrow for another Christmas card (check out the giveaway  !)

Ink up once, make Christmas card twice

Hello !

For day 3 of my 30 cards before Christmas I have a bonus for you ! Same stamps and papers, same inks, but look, two different effects !

How is that possible ? First I made sure my stamps were well inked, I stamped them once on white paper and then a second time on the same paper (and then cut them out) ! So for the first stamped designs, you have a crisp image :

And for the second, you have a faded more vintage style :

I used Distress Oxide inks and the Hero Arts tree set for the stamping, including the tree, decorations, snowflakes and sentiment. I even use the Firebrick ink to change the color of my second ribbon...
Red and white gel pen are the only other items used to create the border of the cards.

Take a look of the material I used for these cards :

If you did like these cards, let me a comment and you will enter my giveaway. If you don't, let me a comment and you will enter my giveaway ! But don't forget to follow my blog to validate your entry.
To learn more about the giveaway and the prize, see my first 30 cards post.

Thank you for stopping by today, don't forget to come back tomorrow for my 4th card...
Have a great Monday !

Winter scene wood box

Hello !

While preparing for my big month (you know, the 30 days before something...), I did find some things interesting at Michaels while shopping for papers. They have very cute laser cut wooden box that I had immediately wanted to decorate ! And as I found a pretty paper pad to create Christmas cards, I had my next creating idea ! Take a look at the result :

These box have LED lights on the background, and each panel can be remove for decorative purpose.

Almost evrything is cover with papers from the Ice Crystal pad  by Craft Smith, except the front upper laser cut that I paint with Sea Foam, Pewter and Frost Dimensional medium by Art Anthology.

I will be pretty busy this week to have cards ready for my 30 cards before Christmas giveaway ! It will start on Saturday, November 25th, with the first card and the prize's reveal...

So thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful week !

Let it snow : a layered layout

Howdy !

I've had some news from France recently, and ski season has already begin there ! I'm so jealous, here we still having 80 something degrees ! This French snow inspired me to create a new layout with a picture of my favorite mountain place that I took few yeas ago...

We have few layers in this layout... First white gesso on the wooden background, then blue embossed snowflakes, ink over stencil, white gel pen, papers and snowflakes lace paper...

I added some black distress ink to the edges as a reminder of the shadows in the picture.

The title is an white embossed stamp.

I'm gonna use this layout as a base for my next workshop (once again contact me if you are interested in one in the Houston area).
Here are some of the products I used :

I will enter this layout in the More than Words challenge, where you have to use woodgrain and outdoors as inspiration. Woodgrain is my background, and the picture is one of my favorite outdoors.

Are you already under snow ? I don't think we gonna have any here soon... And if so, is a snowy landscape your favorite one ?

Thank you for stopping by, I hope to see you very soon...

Blue and black are a good fit !

Hello !

Back with a new mixed media layout with 2 pictures of my daughters :

The black paper has already grungy look, so I continued with same look with white gesso and texture powder (you will see what kind of products I used at the end of the post), and added a crackle stamp (Prima) with black ink.

Then I added cheesecloth, some blue inks  by Art Anthology (Colorations sprays in Sky and Indigo) and silver microbeads before layering distress papers. And I added my personal touch by layering fussy cut swirls too !

Title is some wood words covered with gesso and inks and distress with black ink.

Did you notice the swirls matching the coat of my daughters ? I had this Colorbok paper in my stash forever and knew I had a good  reason to keep it !

Here are some of the products I used :

Thank you for stopping !  I wish you a great day and hope to see you soon !
